Lisa Easterling lives in New Port Richey, FL with her prince of 30 years, five children ages 15-30, and two granddaughters ages 10yrs and 8mo. A 23-year home educator, Lisa is a devoted advocate of family learning. With a daughter on a competitive dance team studying to be a professional nanny and all four sons working at the largest science museum in the southeast US, life is never dull--but it does give her ample fodder for the freelance writing and blogging she does as often as she can find the time. In addition to writing her monthly column for Heartbeat, Lisa blogs primarily at www.writepraylove.com and www.lisaeasterling.com . Another quick hat-change and she is a portrait, bereavement, event, and stock photographer. In her "spare" time she coaches the HeartWords and Wordweavers creative writing groups both locally and online, and leads the Real Christian Woman (RCW) Online Yahoogroups E-Community. Once in a while, she even has a spare moment to enjoy a vanilla mocha Frappuccino and a good book (like One Thousand Gifts, by Ann Voskamp) at the Barnes and Noble Cafe.
