Kare' lives and writes in SW. Florida. Her love of the ocean is often reflected in her poetry. She has loved teaching Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades and being a Concierge. She has primarily been a Club Concierge for Hotels & Resorts and currently works as a Front Desk Concierge for a condo down on the bayfront. Recently she was deeply saddened by the untimely death of her mentor, co-writer & friend ~Jack. He was always the wind beneath her wings. She appreciates her friends and family who have been with her through the good and bad times and all times; the sunshine & the rain. She is especially grateful to a friend who recently gave her honest feedback and helped critique a poem for this magazine. She has 9 nieces and 6 nephews from babies to teenagers whom she adores with all her heart and soul. Her favorite quote is, "Oh, the comfort; the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with someone, having neither to weigh thoughts, 'nor measure words, but pouring them all out, just as they are ~ chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful friendly hand will take and keep what is worth keeping and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away." ~ Emerson. Kare' favorite kids book is, Alexander and The Horrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day . She thinks someone needs to write the adult version ~ because it is funny with a real element of truth.
