Christy is the Chief Editor of HeartBeat the Magazine and is the writer for the Book Review Page. She lives in McKinney, Texas with her preteen son, Ron Jr., and is currently working on a series of children's books. Christy is an avid reader, enjoys spending time with friends, and traveling with her son. As a single mom, Christy accomplished her dream of becoming a home owner in 2008 and is looking forward to decorating it and making many lifelong memories there with her friends and family.

For Spring Break 2008, Christy decided to take her son to Disney World for the first time.

It was on that trip that Christy and Ron Jr realized they absolutely loved Disney World. They decided when they came home to make Disney World their official vacation trip for every Spring Break. And, in sticking to that plan, returned to Disney World for Spring Break 2009.

As a souvenir, they have a caricature made each year. Christy looks forward to filling her stairway hall with many, many more caricatures, from many more great trips. As of September 2009, they have already booked their trip for 2010 and are counting down the days!
