CARLOS SOLORZANO has a BA & MA in Religious Studies from Cal State Long Beach . He teaches theology at Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson , AZ and is currently involved in the study and teaching of Pope John Paul II,  Theology of the Body . He also has interests in Angelology & Global Christianity. Aside from his monthly contributions to Heartbeat the Magazine his writings have also been featured in the magazine Good News Tucson , The Los Angeles Times and The Tidings newspapers as well as the websites  American Protest, Pro Life America , Word Press, Indy Press New York  & Wrecked for the Ordinary . He will soon be making contributions to the website World Wide Bible Study .

Carlos is also a professional musician as he is a member of the Tucson based Christian band Come Thirsty . Samples of their music can be heard at www.shoutlife.com/comethirstytucson . He lives in Southern Arizona with his wife and two children. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and attends San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Sahuarita , AZ.
