Bruce Judisch
Author of Book Reviews By a Guy

Bruce Judisch, a Senior Information Operations Analyst for the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center, has been writing for many years, producing more than 18 Bible book study booklets, as well as topical studies on the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Resurrection, and Discerning God's Will (none submitted for publication).

His first foray into fiction was in 2002, when, on an airplane returning to San Antonio from Washington , DC , he tapped out the first line of Ben Amittai: First Call , the prequel to his A Prophet's Tale series. Ben Amittai , released in 2006, focuses on Scripture's first mention of the prophet Jonah (2 Kings 14:25) and introduces the characters and the storyline for the series. Part one of A Prophet's Tale, The Journey Begun (released in 2009) covers Jonah's rejection of God's call to preach to Nineveh , carries through his flight to Joppa and the harrowing storm at sea, and ends with Jonah returning home to Gath-hepher before setting off for Assyria . The second and final part of the series, The Word Fulfilled (scheduled for release in early 2010) completes Jonah's journey to Nineveh and the salvation of the city. Interestingly, he typed the last line of The Word Fulfilled in early 2009 while on a business trip from San Antonio to the Washington DC area.

Bruce's most recent work, Katia , takes place in post-World War II Berlin, based upon a scene he witnessed while stationed in Berlin at the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Bruce holds an MA in Information Systems and Computer Resources Management; an MA in Management; a BA in Russian; and an A.A. in Communications Processing Management. He and his high-school sweetheart wife of 37 years, Jeannie, live in San Antonio , Texas . They are parents of three, and grandparents of twelve.
