FIREPROOF!
Last year my wife Julie and I furnished the music for our church's marriage retreat (as well as attending for our own marriage improvement). The theme was centered on the movie “Fireproof!” The leader had asked me in advance if I would write a song for the weekend, but nothing seemed to come to me.
About 4:30 Saturday morning, I woke up and this is the song that resulted.

Both working just to make ends meet – we scurry all about
Rent or mortgage, gasoline –the money's all been spent
By the time we get the paycheck -- don't know where the money went

Then satan pours on gasoline and there' a great big fight
Another person comes along who seems to be your dream
But if you cut and run you just fall for satan's scheme
I really feel that satan is doing everything he can to defeat our marriages today and we all need make our marriages Fireproof. If you have not seen the movie, I highly recommend it—and get the book and work through it with your spouse. It has been one of the most meaningful things we have done together.
