Happy Independence Month!
Dear Readers,
July is one of my busiest months! We have 6 family birthdays, youth camps, Heart Beat Ladies Retreat, our annual trip to Oklahoma , Pastor's Conference in San Antonio ; there is something almost every day!
I was taking a little time, while driving, to reflect on July 4 th and what it means to me. Living in a country that is free to think and do as we please (just about) and to speak our minds… many, many countries do not have such luxury! We are so very blessed as Americans and I'm afraid that one day it will all be taken away because of disobedience or taking things for granted or being careless with our law making (changing of laws)… while I feel blessed to live here, I also have a sense of urgency to protect our country and protect the morals, character and integrity that our forefathers placed in motion many years ago. These are trying and scary times and I beseech you all to PRAY for this nation we live in… pray for our leaders and for the people and may God continue to BLESS AMERICA!
We have our first annual Heart Beat Ladies Retreat coming up July 24th , 25th and 26th . If you are in the Texas , Arkansas , Oklahoma , Missouri region, please come and be a part of this awesome time together! We will be in Stigler , Oklahoma at a wonderful retreat center.
