Heart Beat Conference March 2009

Dear Readers,

The Heart Beat Conference was a huge success once again!  

I have never been so excited than I am right now about our online magazine.  The Lord truly "met" with us this past weekend and confirmed so many things that were already in my spirit about the magazine and about my own life.  I KNOW that from this day forward, God is going to use our magazine in a mighty way!  In order to minister to our world more effectively, the magazine will be taking an even more spiritual tone... not radical as far as a "turn off", but radical for JESUS, to where people will be drawn to want to read and be inspired and encouraged and all of the above.  Amen?

I really want us to SATURATE this effort in prayer on a daily basis... pray for the magazine and all the writers and staff... pray for the people who 'hit' the magazine and wonder what this is - that they will continue to read... pray for those who are constant supporters of the magazine... and pray for God to bring new writers our way.  The KEY is in PRAYER!

The speakers for the conference were just incredible:

Mike Ippolito ( mjippolito65@yahoo.com ) spoke on The Heart and tying that into getting our heart right with Jesus and with others. With his sweet, calm spirit, Mike brought a word of comfort and hope... this Word was filled with the emotion of sweetness, the sweetness of the Lord was upon us... it was beautiful.

Bob Kemp (The Thinker - bob.kemp@att.net ) spoke on getting our RELATIONSHIP right with Jesus and others and made it more of a mandate (urgency)... everyone was just "drinking" it all in and I believe woke us up to the reality of getting the WORD of GOD out to this dying world... great message.

Debbie Guinn (Audio Editor and Healing the Wounded Heart - marsguinn-heartbeat@yahoo.com ) spoke on Understanding the Father's Love and the response was overwhelming. Allowing Father God to be our Father, especially when we don't have a father here on earth to lean on or that supports and cares for us.  Our Father in Heaven loves us more than we can ever fathom... another GREAT MESSAGE!

Sandra Hall (Living from the Inside Out - tylersmimi@gmail.com ) spoke on Utilizing God's SUPER on OUR NATURAL... love the play on words... talked about even though we are "natural" men and women, that God desires to use us in SUPERNATURAL ways... and these days, especially, we need to be praying for God to use us this way; we must be in His Word!  Awesome!

John Hall (Sandra's husband - tylersmimi@gmail.com ) spoke on The Man with the Withered Hand; and to reach out to people and how Christians are supposed to have the POWER in Jesus to be able to minister to all walks of life, all needs of the church and outside the church, whether it be physically, emotionally or spiritually... people need JESUS!  Wonderful message!

Sher Walker (Power Life - RicknSher@grandecom.net ) gave us little 5-10 min. "gems" from the Word following each speaker... she was called, "a little walking Proverb", in which I thought was very appropriate and powerful in the same light... Sher , we are gonna have to see what we can do with that phrase in the near future "A Walking Proverb".  Love it!

Michele Pantlick (Princess 2 Princess - heavensmessengers@ymail.com ) was our guest singer and when she sang "Mercy Seat"... that was it... God was there no matter what!  Oh to be in His Presence and she very much helped usher the Lord's presence in to us!  She also sang, "I'm Goin ' High", which was also a major blessing!  On Sunday morning, she sang, "Mercy Seat" again, and got a standing ovation... God is so good!

Mike Ippolito also sang "Be Still" and the presence of the Lord was so sweet and His mercy and grace was felt by all... thank you so much, Mike, for ministering to us in such a sweet and "still" way...

Pastor Rod Brewer (Family Cathedral of Praise Church in Mesquite , Texas - rbrewer@fcop.net ) was our Guest Speaker for Saturday night and heaven came down and GLORY filled our souls!  He spoke on "The Weapons of Intimacy" and took the passage from the Song of Solomon 6:4-10... oh my goodness, it was powerful!  I have known Pastor Rod for many, many years and I have seen a transformation in this man's life like no other... I could have listened to him all night... the untimely Words of the Lord and His Spirit flowing out of Pastor Rod to us... it was incredible.

Pastor Traci Brewer (Family Cathedral of Praise Church and wife of Pastor Rod - traci.brewer@att.net ) was our Guest Speaker for Sunday morning at our home church (FCOP)... I cannot describe to you in just a few moments what God did and said through this woman of God; it would take many pages and many conversations, but, she PREACHED a sermon that touched us like I haven't seen in YEARS!  We had an alter call like I haven't seen in years... she spoke about taking the "reins" away from Satan... he's nothing... we HAVE to get back in ministering to people on a level that we actually see people HEALED from infirmities/diseases and SET FREE from bondages... the TIME IS NOW!  Wow, just incredible... God was there, folks... and I want Him to show Himself in US everyday; not just for a weekend... walking in His power, His love, His compassion, His strength, His mercy...

I could go on and on... I want to thank you all for the prayers and support of this conference.  I want to thank my staff of Heart Beat the Magazine... Christy Good, Debbie Guinn...  they do so much behind the scenes, you cannot even imagine and we all have full time jobs, too (outside the magazine - lot's of work).  I want to most of all thank my husband, Charlie... he is our BIGGEST supporter and I know that if he did not BELIEVE in what we are doing, he wouldn't even be a part of it, but, he is and he does and he's great!!!!  Love you, honey!
