Friends4Life
From The Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Friends 4 Life is not only a group but also a band as well. It's been a long time coming, but this time their music is for the Lord. Their live performances are more than just a performance, but a "Ministry" and with their energy and talent, they minister under the anointing like you've never witnessed before. Quincy McCullum, former drummer for the Williams Brothers, Canton Spirituals, learned the gift of music ministry from experience and mastered it so that no matter what type of audience, the Holy Spirit leads him in the right direction. The band members are Keith Brumfield - keyboard player, Rashawn Bey - keyboard player, Phillip Moore - bass guitar, Ronny Artis - lead guitar, and Alex Vance - drums. Together they offer a new image and a new flavor in gospel music. Friends 4 Life are leaders by example and not only do they attract all gospel music lovers, but they also attract other genres of music listeners such as hip hop, R&B, funk, jazz, rock, pop, fusion, country and more. Friends 4 Life has music fans all over the world, even in Japan which the group is currently setting up tour dates for 2007. Their style of music is very versatile in many categories and the stories behind each song are from real life experiences. The group's primary goal is to not only to reach people in the churches, but to reach those who have never been introduced to Jesus Christ. “We are role models to the younger generation between the ages of 30 on down and that is important to us. We dress urban with a classy R&B look and a lot of people see us and feel comfortable and can really relate to us and our music.” Then they say to themselves, “I've listened to the song and I've been through the same thing. The storm Katrina, been raped, lost my job, been cheated on, been broke, didn't know how I was going to make it till tomorrow. But at the end of the day, I survived; money came through something changed for the better and didn't know how it happened.” Then they would say to themselves, “If that was God, then from now on, I will believe because I didn't know how I was going to make it, but he made a way. That is what we are about and what we believe in.” Friends 4 Life has been through so much in life. By the grace of God, they have completed an anointed project, and look forward to spreading the goods news around the world.
