Happy Valentines Day on the 14 th !
Ahhhhh, February, the month of love! Charlie, my sweet hubby and writer of The Maleroom, and I have been married 25 years this year. That's quite an accomplishment these days. We met at church, our College and Career Class, the summer after his Freshman year of college. We were young and in love… fools in love! Through out our married years we have had our ups and downs, but have never fallen out of love… I believe because of the way we handled the tough times it made us stronger. Our faith in God and our commitment to one another has sustained us. Today, our children are almost grown and we are having the time of our lives together! God has been the “constant” in our relationship.
As I reflect on what this month represents in the “natural”, my mind automatically goes to the “supernatural”. God loves us so much; He gave His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins! He wants the best for us, He wants good and not evil… we are His Bride! People talk a good talk about “change”… change in our country, our economy, change in our values and morals?... hummmm… I say that there is “change” that we can truly believe in and that “change” can only come from the Lord! Trusting in Him and believing in Him and giving Him our lives. We need to rise up as Christians and take back this country from moral decay before it's too late, if it isn't already. No… it's never too late!
