The Heart Beat Staff

Connie is the Founder/CEO of Heart Beat the Group Online, HeartBeat the Magazine and HeartBeat World Community. Connie is a speaker/motivator and is in the beginning stages of her first book called, “Getting Over Depression… with God”. She lives in Dallas , Texas with her husband, Charlie, and her three children, Bethany, Phillip and Benjamin. She loves to travel with her family and her passion is motivating and empowering people (especially women) to be all they can be in Christ!

Christy is the Chief Editor of HeartBeat the Magazine and is the writer for the Book Review Page. She lives in McKinney, Texas with her young son, Ron Jr., and is currently working on a series of children's books with him. Christy is an avid reader, enjoys spending time with friends, and traveling with her son. As a single mom, Christy accomplished her dream of becoming a home owner in 2008 and is looking forward to decorating it and making many lifelong memories there with her friends and family.

Debbie Guinn was born in Phoenix, AZ, graduated from Southwest Baptist University and has lived in Texas since 1994.  She is the single mother of three daughters and lives in Ft. Worth , Texas .  Debbie resigned from her job as an Administrative Assistant in 2001 when the effects of Multiple Sclerosis began to take her sight.  She is a speaker, an editor, as well as an author who regularly contributes to Heartbeat the Magazine and the Audio Editor of the magazine. She is currently working on two books.  Debbie's transparency and firm grasp of God's Truth challenges women of every age and stage to trust in the life-giving power of God's Word for every aspect of their lives.
