IDENTIFY THE GIANTS

I just saw one of the greatest if not the greatest movies of my life..."Facing the Giants". One, because it CHANGED my life and my way of thinking... I've been in the music business now for a while and I didn't realize it, but I've had a spirit of not being good enough, not making the grade, not being at the right place at the right time to meet those RIGHT people. Well, tonight after 10+ years, God has CLEARLY released me from those fears (False Evidence Appearing Real) and those "giants" in my life. I'm a winner EITHER WAY... I'm gonna praise Him if I write a HIT song and I'm gonna praise Him if I don't... It's not about the winning; it's about the "playing"... how I play... my motives have been selfish at times and I admit, I've even tried to take some of the glory for some things that ONLY God could have done in my life. Father, I ask you to forgive me for trying to take the glory from you and trying to do things my own way and in my OWN strength and just messing everything up. Father, from this day forward, I promise whether I write that "hit" and find success through it or I don't, I'm gonna praise you... and I'm gonna start rejoicing like I've already written it... I believe there are LOTS of other people who feel or have felt the same as I do and it's time to stand up and FACE THOSE GIANTS in your life... no matter how BIG they "seem" to be right now... Whether, its drugs, alcohol, internet addiction, anger, fear, low self esteem suicidal feelings... FACE THAT GIANT... I hear the enemy say: “your fields are dry, your land is barren and there isn't a cloud in the sky... now what are you gonna do?” I hear the Father say: “FACE THAT GIANT and .................PREPARE FOR RAIN.”
