Brave Soldier

Every day a brave soldier stands and meets the enemy on demand.

Every day a brave soldier dies but he stood up for what was true and right.

Every day a brave soldier does what he can to fight for his country with faith and honor and God's glory.

He knows there are lives to save and lives back home that he loves and prays he sometimes can read his Bible for strength.

But many times finds he can't read but one sentence and prays that will be enough for his sustenance.

Oh, he prays so often that God will spare his life for he has a home with children and a wife but still, he believes in what he does and he goes on and endures for the cause.

This great nation has believed in great things like honor and truth and that God still reigns.

So tonight, as you lay down in your bed and you think about how you are warm and well fed, send up a prayer for the soldier at arms.

Pray for his safety and strength to go on, pray for his family and thank God above for this brave soldier who's given out of love.
