Alabaster Song of Praise

Wiping Jesus Feet

When I entered the room,

I saw Him sitting there amongst the crowded room.

And all I could do was drop to my knees and break the Alabaster jar

and I began to weep.

The fragrance filled the room of this expensive perfume

and I began to kiss and wipe His feet with my hair.

Then I heard someone say,

“Why does she do this, this expense, is far too extravagant to waste?

Then the words of the Master, so quietly said,

“Leave her be for she brings honor to Me and you've never seen this kind of love before;

You never gave Me honor when I entered your door. This woman's love is far greater and she loves with great love and honors and adores.”

I pour out my Alabaster song of praise to You.

I cling to You longer and I know You are the One that broke the chains of oppression.

And I am here to bring You an Alabaster Song of Praise.

I will live to bring honor to Your name with my Alabaster Song of Praise.

This is my praise, this is my love, to worship and honor You,

The Holy One,

This is my song of love for You, my Alabaster Song Of Praise.
