Hi Connie, Christy and Debbie, “Just wanted to let you know that the magazine looks great as always! I so appreciate being on staff with you! Love and hugs!” Lisa (Inspirational Poetry) “I had an opportunity to read and enjoy the May issue of Heartbeat. It was a true blessing. I especially liked the article in Chetitorials on Obama. The piece was based on biblical principles, while stating events that have happened. It was an honest and open view that was very well written. I look forward to the June issue and what treasures I will find in that issue!” Shannon in Daphne Alabama “Chet gave a great synopsis of our duty as Christians to test all things, and especially to be faithful to "Christian" brethren by confronting errors, hoping all things, and desiring them to be conformed to Christ more than fashioned after ideas which may be popular in certain circles, whatever those ideas may be which are not scriptural. Thanks for including Chet in your columnists. Frankly, I think Senator Obama seems to have many Socialist leanings, and I would fear to have him in charge of our nation and be leary of the direction he would take us.” Beth Jelinski in New Jersey “I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with Chet's article on Obama's relationship with his pastor. I, being an educated American, cannot for the life of me see how a man can sit under preaching/teaching for as long as he did and not be influenced by it. His lack of reproof for the statements and messages that have come from this pastor are a clear indication that he has been in agreement with them. He has broken his silence on the matter, ONLY because he is running for president and wants to win. But the FACT remains, that he sat under this pastor as a U.S. Senator. He as a Senator gave consent to ANTI-American retoric. I am sorry but his silence on the matter clearly gives consent. And he wants to lead this nation that he himself allowed to be dragged through the mud regularly. Is this the man we want leading us? Negotiating with Iran , Syria , the Arabs, North Korea , or China . I think not. I believe we as Americans need to take a deep hard look at Mr. Obama... and Hilary as well.
