My husband, Charlie, and I will be celebrating our 23rd Wedding Anniversary on August 18th!  Charlie and I have had our ups and downs like any couple, but, I believe because of the Lord being a PRIORITY in our marriage and home, we have overcome many obstacles.  I have MORE love and respect for Charlie than ever before; He is my life and my all and I am looking forward to another 23 years with him.  I thank God for a husband who loves me and takes care of me no matter what!  I thank God for a husband who provides for his family and lives a standard of life that has character and integrity to which our children and I can look up to.

Thank you, honey, for 23 years of happiness, faithfulness and LOVE!  Thank you for our wonderful family!

Speaking of family... our daughter, Bethany, will be leaving for College this month!  Charlie and I will be moving her up to Ouachita Baptist University... about 4 hours away from home!  It's really going to be hard on me, because she is MY GIRL, but I am so proud of her I could bust! 

I want you all to know that even though I don't know you personally, I pray for the readers of this magazine every day.  I pray that something in this magazine will speak to your hearts and penetrate your soul.  I pray that we here at HeartBeat will be a comfort to you, an encourager when you need encouraging and a hope that you can spiritually grab hold of.
