CEDARBURG, WI – Rockspel Records announces the immediate availability of the CD Closer to the Ground by Cedarburg musician Gary Clausing. This 14 track CD is a compilation of original songs, which provides a soul searching musical journey encompassing many styles with hints of pop, blues, reggae, country and rock.

Recorded and mixed in Milwaukee at The Exchange, Gary worked with Grammy award winner, and 2007 WAMI Producer of the Year recipient Joe Puerta in producing the CD. Along with many quality studio musicians, Gary lends his vocal and instrumental prowess to give the CD its unique blend.

Gary Clausing's musical style derives from a diverse musical background.

Having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin-

Oshkosh, his style is complemented with classical training along with years of performing on stage in rock bands, dueling piano shows, and in a church setting.
