“I wouldn't want to be raising an adolescent in this day and age,” a retiring counselor of almost thirty years stated.   Each generation continues to cross the lines and add an inch-a foot-a yard.   What was once taboo is accepted then pushed to another level.   Why?

Peace for Parents of Teens addresses this question, delving into the motion toward change in the lives of teens today.   Dealing with these realities will help parents know how to better identify what their teen is going through, thus able to help empower their relationship.

This one year devotional addresses topics such as:

-Parents who do too much

-The proverbial happiness

-The scandal of parenting

-Where have the Cleaver's gone?

-Finding acceptance in an unaccepting milieu

-The final answer is-nature or nurture

Dozens of other topics are examined as parents read the accounts of the circumstances teens are thrown into.   Parents are supported by prayer, questions and situations we angst over and encourages ways to turn that anxiety over to God.

Feelings of frustration from relationships with teens can cause turbulence in a family, making parents feel powerless and alone.   These daily devotionals help with the discouragement of being a teen parent in today's society with spirit and faith.

Warmly,

Beth Shriver
