“While I have been down ill, I have had plenty of time to clear my mind and think about things a bit.
The biggest thing on my mind is just wondering why more Christians do not take a stand for their rights. In today's society we see more and more rights and privileges being taken away as Christians i.e. Prayer in schools, The ten commandments being posted in public places, Holidays of Christmas and Easter being attacked etc. At some point we have to stop turning the other cheek and take a stand for Christ and Country. It has gotten so bad in my eyes anyway that not even the prominent Preachers are taking a stand against anyone. The only reason the Atheist and Muslims are winning at the moment is because their voices are louder. I am sick and tired of the old antage “forgive and forget” when it comes to defending our faith in Christ and what this country was founded on. Heck, I fought for this country, have gotten a sickness that may not allow me to live a life as long as I had hoped to serve Christ with. While there is no hate in my heart for any one group of people or faith, that does not mean I should lie down and be a welcoming mat for those others to walk on while they continue to dwindle away our rights to serve the one true God and the God this great country was founded on.
