Joanie Buchanan

Joanie shares the love and adoration that she has for Jesus Christ through teaching and speaking to diverse groups across the country. She has ministered in churches, Bible study groups, county jails, state prisons, juvenile centers, nursing homes, hospitals, parks, and hosting two radio programs. She is also working on a new television program.

The desire of her heart is that God gets the glory in all that she does and that lives will be changed as they accept Christ as their Savior. She says, “He is our Savior, healer, and soon coming King. It is of the upmost importance that we stand up and be counted as a Christian. God's Word commands us if we belong to Him to be filled with His Spirit, witness, and lift Him up everywhere the journey of life takes us. He has a will and a direction for each of us, if we seek Him and obey Him we will find it.”

Joanie and her husband Denver have pastored churches in Alaska, Colorado and Texas; they currently pastor the Hiding Place Church in Forsyth, Missouri.

Denver and Joanie have 4 beautiful children and 8 grandchildren. Being a wife and mother of 4 and having a child with special needs, along with having a ministry, has taught her many important and valuable life lessons.

She loves teaching the Word of God and helping others find who they are in Christ. God spoke to Joanie years ago and said, “There are dimensions and revelations in me that you know nothing about, will you pursue me.” That set her on a mission to seek after God with her whole heart.

Joanie teaches that God has given each of us a destiny and that God's Holy Spirit will help us reach and find our direction in Christ as we look to Him for our guidance.
