Dear Readers,
Happy New Year, everyone! 2011 was a great year for me and my family starting out with the family ski trip; our daughter graduated from College and is now in Graduate School; our middle son is in his 3rd year of College; our youngest son played football and basketball, was the lead in the school musical and plays percussion in band. Charlie and I celebrated our 28th year of marriage and went to San Antonio, Texas for the weekend. We had a very HOT summer, here in Texas and a mild Fall and Winter. The Holidays were very special with our family and friends... I certainly cannot complain about 2011... SO, here we go into 2012 and I'm looking forward to see all the adventures that we encounter!
The magazine had a great year, as well! We are going into our 6th year and still have some of the original writers (wonderful and loyal writers) and we picked up some new, interesting writers, too! God has certainly blessed us with what I believe as some of the best writers in the world!
Our magazine has partnered with a book publishing company; this is a new company; they have lots of connections and will give your book the attention it needs and deserves. The package prices are very reasonable; I have been involved many times in book publishing and I can tell you that it cost thousands of dollars to edit, publish and get a book out to the public. While I'm looking forward to the future, I'm reminiscing on the past for just a moment: I'm very proud of our magazine and amazed at where we have come from and where God is taking us! Here are a few of my favorite issues from the past:
