The Heart Beat Staff
Connie is the Founder/CEO of Heart Beat the Group Online, HeartBeat the Magazine and HeartBeat World Community. Connie is a speaker/motivator and is in the beginning stages of her first book called, “Getting Over Depression… with God”. She lives in Dallas , Texas with her husband, Charlie, and her three children, Bethany, Phillip and Benjamin. She loves to travel with her family and her passion is motivating and empowering people (especially women) to be all they can be in Christ!
Christy is the Chief Editor of HeartBeat the Magazine and lives in McKinney,Texas with her young son, Ron Jr., and is currently working on a series of children's books with him. Christy is an avid reader, enjoys spending time with friends, and traveling with her son. Christy has recently become engaged to her 'soulmate', Jonathan, and is looking forward to her upcoming nuptials in September 2011!
S.D Weikel, Junior Editor
S.D. is an aspiring author and Texas native. She enjoys coffee, chocolate, history, and her family (including a cat who lays on the keyboard, sabotaging stories). Her main goal for this coming year is to finish her current novel while working to gain experience as an editor. S.D's future plans involve earning a degree in English/History, possibly from Stephen F. Austin.
