Debbie is one of our Heart Beat Team
Leaders and joined Heart Beat because she saw it as a wonderful opportunity
to get to know other Christians and to reach out and help those in need. Debbie is the Administrative Assistant to
the CFO at her company and to the HR Department. She handles all the
day to day accounting, payroll and assists employees with questions regarding
the employee benefits, etc ... Debbie is a very busy woman! If she
could have any job in the world, Debbie said that she loves the job she has
just wish she could get paid more! Her hobbies include, reading, singing and
involved in her kids lives and her church. |

Some of Debbie's favorites are: Color: Red Books: Anything by Max Lucado, Joyce
Meyers, Left Behind Series. I love mysteries and the Bible is my favorite
book. Movies: The Sound of Music TV Shows: 7th Heaven Favorite Actor/Actress: Patrick Swayze and
Reese Witherspoon Foods: Chinese, Mexican and Cajun Store: Wal-Mart or anywhere that has a good
sale. Sports: Basketball and volleyball Drinks: Coke Zero, Sweet Tea and
Guarana (a Brazilian soft drink) Debbie grew up in Brazil and loves to
travel with her husband, Clyde, and daughters Kasey and Jessica. Her
heroes are her Lord Jesus and her parents. We asked Debbie what was something you
would like people to know about you and her reply was, "My parents were
missionaries to Brazil. I am fluent in Portuguese and English. I
accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 5 years old. I am very
affectionate; part of this comes from growing up in Brazil and having
absorbed the Brazilian culture. I moved back to the US when I was 16
and had a lot of adjusting to do. You can take this gal out of Brazil,
but you can't take the Brazilian culture out. It is something that will
always be a part of who I am and something I will treasure the rest of my
