What is in a Heartbeat? Hands
ready to help you pray
Ears to
hear the things you say
Arms to
hold you when your day’s been a bust
Reminders
of your faith and your trust
Travelers with you in your daily life Beacons of hope through your trials and strife Eagles to soar with, as your heart sings Angels to keep you safe in their wings These are things I find in my heartbeat Something to share with the people I meet. © Christy Good August 10, 2006 |

We chose to feature this poem for the initial
rollout of HeartBeat the Magazine.
This poem hopes to encompass what HeartBeat is about. We look forward to the coming weeks, when
we’ll be featuring many of your original works of poetry! |
|
We look forward to publishing many of your original
poems in the coming issues. Please
know that we can’t possibly publish all the poetry we receive and that poems
will generally be published when they relate to the HeartBeat Topic of the
week. So don’t give up if one of yours
isn’t published right away, just keep trying! |
